Johnny Depp is set to marry longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis
on June 14.
The couple, who have been together for over 10 years and have two
children, have always insisted they don't feel the need to legalize
their relationship, but French singer Paradis is now eager to marry.
A source close to the couple is quoted as claiming: "Vanessa recently told Johnny that she would love to have a wedding. Johnny loves Vanessa very much, and he said if that's what would make her happy, then he would marry her."
Depp,
who recently said the couple were "for all intents and purposes
married" is planning to have the ceremony in Georgia to make it
convenient for his family who live in Florida.
The source added, "The children are really excited about it. Actually,
the whole family is excited. They're going to send out invitations in a
few weeks."

Hulk Hogan is being sued by the family of John Graziano, who was left in a semiconscious state after his son Nick's car crash last year.
Former wrestling champion Hulk
and his estranged wife Linda have been accused of being "negligent and
directly liable for the wreck" in the suit filed by Graziano's family,
which also lists their son Nick Hogan
as a defendant. Daniel Jacobs, who was also involved in the accident
after racing his car alongside Nick's, was listed as a co-defendant in
the suit. War veteran Graziano, 23, was hospitalized after Nick crashed
his allegedly modified Toyota Supra car after racing the Dodge Viper
driven by Daniel on August 26, 2007. Graziano has been left in a partly
vegetative state. After part of his brain's frontal lobe was removed
following the accident, he can only respond to heat and light. Kimberly
Kohn, an attorney for the Graziano family, said she hoped the lawsuit
would see the Hogans
accept accountability for their son's "reckless and negligent" driving.
She added: "They not only encouraged it but they also did not take
appropriate action to stop it and to protect the safety of the public."
The suit, which seeks damages of over $15,000 from the Hogan family, claims Hulk
bought alcohol for 17-year-old Nick and his friends on the day of the
crash. It also details a history of Nick's driving history, including
how he was pulled over twice in 2006 for speeding at over 100mph and
the three speeding tickets he received in 2007. In February, Daniel
Jacobs was fined $500, sentenced to 90 days probation, ordered to
complete 25 hours of community service and had his driver's license
suspended for 90 days after pleading no contest on a charge of reckless
driving.

Linsday Lohan's publicist insists she would never have attended a Beverly Hills, California party had she known it was a Paris Hilton-endorsed event. Lohan was reported to have thrown a "hissy fit" at the Scandinavia Style Mansion party after spotting an advertisement for Paris Hilton Handbags on the red carpet. Lohan's representative Leslie Sloane Zelnik also claims Lohan would not have attended the event if she had known it was sponsored by an alcoholic drink. He says, "We were never told that Paris was part of the event. Nor did we know there was a liquor sponsor. She wouldn't have participated." Sloan added he was informed only press from two Scandinavian magazines would be present. However, reporters and a camera crew were also at the party.

French president Nicolas Sarkozy has started his first official visit to England, the day after it was reported that an auction house is to sell nude pictures of his new wife, the former supermodel Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. Bruni-Sarkozy was attracting as much, if not more, attention than her husband during the two-day visit. Auction house Christie's is to sell photographs of former model Bruni-Sarkozy, taken by Michel Comte in 1993, in New York next month. The French president's office was quoted as saying the sale is a private matter. The British media has covered the president's courtship of Bruni-Sarkozy and subsequent marriage in depth, with several using her visit as reason to reprint images from her modeling career. Many observers in France see the presidential trip as a bid by Sarkozy to regain some of the popularity that saw him elected last May. Since then, he has provoked controversy at home with his high-profile divorce from former wife Cecilia in October, followed by his relationship and marriage to Bruni-Sarkozy, a singer and former model.

Britney Spears was ordered by a court commissioner to pay ex-husband Kevin Federline $375,000 to cover his attorney fees in their child-custody dispute. Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled that Spears' actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federlines lead attorney, had asked for nearly $500,000. Gordon issued the order in response to arguments presented last week. Spears' attorney Stacy Phillips argued that Kaplan was overbilling and that Federline can pay his own legal bills, but Gordon wrote that Spears' actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in the case. Spears has had very limited contact with her two toddler sons, who are under the sole physical and legal custody of Federline. Spears' father, James, was named one of two co-conservators of her estate after she was hospitalized twice in January. The conservatorship has been extended until July 31.

Paul McCartney was ordered to pay Heather Mills $48.6 million to settle their divorce. A document released by the Family Court said the judge awarded Mills a lump sum of $33 million plus the assets she currently holds worth $15.6 million. "I'm so, so happy with this," Mills told reporters following the closed hearing. The court also ruled that the couple's 4-year-old daughter should receive a "periodical payments order" of $70,000 per annum. On top of that, McCartney will pay for the child's nanny and school fees. "It was an incredible result in the end to secure mine and my daughter's future and that of all the charities that I obviously plan on helping and making a difference with, because you know it has been my life for 20 years," she said. McCartney and Mills went to court last month to decide on Mills' share of his fortune, which had been estimated at as much as $1.6 billion. Judge Hugh Bennett, however, found that the total value of all of McCartney's assets, including his business assets, was about $800 million. Mills said the settlement vindicated her decision to fire her lawyers. The legal fees, she said, "instead could easily go to charity." The settlement has been a long time coming for the couple, who separated two years ago, after four years of marriage. At the time they said the parting was "amicable" and insisted "both of us still care about each other very much." But the split had grown contentious after McCartney filed for divorce alleging his wifes "unreasonable behavior." Mills claimed McCartney had failed to protect her and their daughter from slander, death threats and other abuse, and accused the media of persecuting her. In November, Mills said she had been "treated worse than a murderer" despite years of work for land mine victims and animal welfare charities.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the Woman at the center of the New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer call girl scandal will have no problem cashing in on her notoriety, 'Penthouse' and 'Hustler' are already calling. "We've been looking at that very closely. She's young. She's pretty. She's a model," said Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt. "We would love to do business with her, and we will approach her." 'Penthouse' has been trying to reach Dupre, too, but had yet to make contact. Penthouse Magazine Group president and publisher Diane Silberstein said she would "love to have her in the magazine and would consider offering her a cover shot." "She sounds like a very interesting and talented young woman, and I'm sure she has a great story to tell," Silberstein said. "We promise to make it worth her while." Dupre was thrust into the limelight when she was identified as the high-priced call girl whose arrangements for a rendezvous with Spitzer at a Washington, D.C., hotel were secretly monitored by the FBI. Flynt suggested that by the time Dupre starts talking she may be too big a media phenomenon for a simple magazine spread. "She is no doubt going to do a book. There will probably be a movie," he said. "I think she is going to have so many offers coming in that it will probably be wishful thinking just to get in the door."

As her instant celebrity status continues to climb in the wake of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal, Ashley Alexandra Dupre has now received a $1 million offer to bare it all. A representative for Hustler Magazine has confirmed that a seven-figure offer will be made to Dupre. "Larry Flynt and Hustler Magazine will be offering $1 Million to Ashley Dupre to pose for Hustler Magazine," the spokesperson said. "We want this to happen as soon as possible." But the folks at Hustler aren't the only ones willing to pay for the rights to feature Ashley in the buff. "We would love to see Ashley appear on our Web site. We would be thrilled. We are definitely reaching out to her," Penthouse executive Marc Bell said. "Her fifteen minutes of fame are now and Penthouse could mean a unique and enormous opportunity for her." Bell would not disclose any dollar amount being offered to Dupre, who also goes by the name of "Kristen." The offers don't stop there. If she has any desire to get into the adult video business, Vivid Video would be more than happy to accommodate her, and are ready to fork over a hefty fee. "Ashley Dupre is very beautiful and we are definitely interested in talking to her. We are reaching out to her attorney and preparing a deal memo. She could wind up being the highest paid actress in adult entertainment," Vivid Entertainment Co-Chairman Steven Hirsch said. A spokesperson for Playboy had "no comment" as to whether Hugh Hefner would want Dupre inside the pages of his magazine.
